WC 2023: England pacer Reece Topley ruled out due to fractured finger

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Sunday, October 22 confirmed that their left-arm pacer Reece Topley was ruled out of the remainder of World Cup 2023 due to a finger injury. Reece Topley walked out off the field in his 4th over after getting hit on his fingers when he tried to stop that powerful shot. He returned to bowl for England and completed 8.5 overs while picking up 3 wickets against South Africa at the Wankhede Stadium. He was out receiving treatment for a long period of time after walking off in the 4th over only to pick up 2 more wickets upon his return.
