Women T20 cricket: Australia beats India to seal place in semis

In the Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup, Australia beat India by nine runs in a Group-A match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium last night and sealed their place in the semi-finals. Australia maintained their unbeaten record in the tournament with a fourth consecutive win in the group stage. 

On the other hand, India’s chances to qualify for the semis rest with the result of the



final Group A encounter between New Zealand and Pakistan. If Pakistan win the match then India will become the second team from the group to reach semis.

  

Today, Pakistan Women will take on New Zealand Women in the Group A match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match will start at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time.
