India women overwhelmed the victory target of 248 in 48 overs losing only five wickets. For India, Skipper Mithali Raj top scored with 66 runs while Punam Raut put up 65 runs. South Africa's L.Wolvaardt
scalped three Indian wickets.
Earlier, put into bat, South Africa women scored 248 runs, losing 6 wickets. For India, Shikha Pandey, Ekta Bisht and Poonam Yadav claimed two wickets each.
The third and final ODI between India and South Africa women will be played at Vadodara on Monday.
