World Cup winning captains to be honored during final in Ahmedabad

World Cup winning captains are all set to be honored during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.

In a special arrangement planned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), World Cup winning captains will be honored and facilitated with a special blazer in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The facilitation will take place



after the end of the first innings in the 2023 World Cup final.

The likes of MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Ricky Ponting, Clive Lloyd, Allan Border, Eoin Morgan and Arjuna Ranatunga will be presented with special blazers in Ahmedabad. The presentation ceremony will also feature short clips of the captains guiding their sides to World Cup glory, before a short question-answer session with a BCCI/Star anchor.
