Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad as a standby player in the World Test Championship Final squad. Ruturaj informed the cricket board about his marriage on June 3-4.
The management has told Yashasvi to start practicing with the red ball and he will travel to England once his VISA gets cleared.

in five games.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had drafted Gaikwad but tbe player urged the officials to allow him to join after June 5. However, his request was turned down by Rahul Dravid, who sought a replacement.
“Jaiswal wanted to join the squad post June 5 due to his marriage. Dravid refused and urged the selectors to provide a replacement player. Yashasvi will soon join the team,” a BCCI official said.
