Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr FC on Monday announced that they will be officially unveiling Cristiano Ronaldo as a player on 3rd January in Riyadh at the club's home ground, Mrsool Park.
Ronaldo completed the move to the Saudi Arabian side after his contract with Manchester United was terminated during the World Cup in the wake of his controversial interview with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old had a tough outing in Qatar during the World Cup as he only scored one goal as Portugal crashed out of the tournament in the quarterfinal stages after their loss to Morocco.
After some speculation, Ronaldo signed with Al Nassr on 31st December on a two and a half year contract as he starts a new challenge in Asia after winning a lot of accolades in Europe.
Al Nassr have now announced that the Portuguese superstar will be unveiled in the team's colours
on 3rd January at Mrsool Park at 7 PM local time.
"All eyes on Riyadh as the world's greatest @Cristiano will be unveiled in Al Nassr colours for the very first time," said Al Nassr on Twitter.
Ronaldo had commented on his move to the Saudi Arabian club and said that he was fortunate to have won everything in European football and felt that it was the right moment for him to share his experience in Asia.
The Portuguese superstar said that he was looking forward to joining his new team mates and help the club achieve success.
"I am fortunate that I have won everything I set out to win in European football and feel now that this is the right moment to share my experience in Asia," Ronaldo said in the statement.
"I am looking forward to joining my new team mates and together with them help the Club to achieve success."
