Indian cyclist Deborah Herold bagged two Silver medals on the seventh day of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games at Ashgabat, Turkmenistan yesterday.
She bagged a Silver medal in the six-lap Keirin event in track cycling, and also finished second in the Team sprint event with Alena Reji.The Andaman and Nicobar Islands girl has now won three Silver medals
in the Games. Her first Silver was in the 200 metres individual sprint race.
Besides Deborah, India also won a Silver medal yesterday through Malaprabha Yallappa Jadhav in Women's Kurash, a Martial Arts event.
India are currently ninth in the medals tally with 5 Gold, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze medals. Hosts Turkmenistan are at the top.
