French Open: Iga Swiatek to take on Beatriz Haddad Maia in clash of last four today

Paris: In French Open Tennis, the semifinal lineup in Men's and Women's Singles has completed. In Women's Singles, top seed Iga Swiatek will take on 14th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia in the clash of Last Four in Paris this evening. Polish player Swiatek defeated American Coco Gauff while Brazilian, Maia overpowered seventh seed Ons Jabeur of Tunisia in the quarterfinals yesterday.  

Second seed Aryna Sabnalenka will be up against Czech tennis star Karolina Muchova in another semifinal clash today. Belarusian player Sabalenka defeated Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina while Muchova edged past Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the last



eight.

In Men's Singles, top seed Carlos Alcaraz will lock horns with third seed Novak Djokovic while fourth seed Casper Ruud will face 22nd seed Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals tomorrow.

Norwegian Ruud knocked out Denmark's Holger Rune while Germany's Zverev beats Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina in the quaterfinals yesterday.

Spain's Alcaraz won against 17th-seeded Lorenzo Musetti of Italy while Serbian third-seed Djokovic defeated Peru's Juan Pablo Varillas to reach a record 17th French Open men's quarter-final on Tuesday.
