In the quarter-finals last night, the 13th seeded Indo-French pair lost to the 8th placed Croatian-Austrian team of Alexander Peya and Nikola Mektic, in straight sets, 6-7, 2-6. With this, the Indian campaign in the second Grand Slam of the season has ended.

Singles, former champion Novak Djokovic and second seed Alexander Zverev made shock quarterfinal exits. While Djokovic was stunned by an unseeded Italian Marco Cecchinato, Zverev was beaten by Dominic Thiem.
In Women's Singles, Americans Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens set up a semi-final clash.
