French Open Tennis: Novak Djokovic enter secound round of Men's singles

The second Grand Slam of the season, defending champion Novak Djokovic and 9-time winner Rafael Nadal began their campaigns with easy wins today.

Second seed Djokovic beat M. Granollers 6-3, 6-4, 6-2, while fourth seed Nadal defeated B. Paire 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 to enter into second round. Other seeded players Maran Silic, M. Raonic and D,



Goffin also registered easy victories against their opponents in the first round. 

In the Women's Singles opening round, fourth placed Spaniard Garbine Muguruza sailed in to the second round beating F. Schiavone. Yesterday, world number one Angelique Kerber bowed out of the tournament in the opening round.
