Gujarat has entered the Final of the Ranji Trophy Cricket tournament for the first time since the 1950-51 season. Parthiv Patel-led Gujarat made it to the title clash after beating Jharkhand by 123 runs yesterday in the semi-final played in Nagpur.
Opting to bat, Gujarat had
posted 390, replying to which Jharkhand made 408. In the second innings, Gujarat were bundled out for 252, giving Jharkhand a target of 235. The other semi-final is being played between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu. The Final is slated to begin on the 10th of this month at Indore.
