Bengaluru, April 26: India's veteran offspinner Harbhajan Singh has slammed a Jet Airways pilot for being 'racist' and 'abusing' a physically challenged man on a flight. He also wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to take action.
Harbhajan, who is now playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, took to the micro-blogging website Twitter to report a 'racist' behaviour from a foreign pilot named Bernd Hoesslin on a Jet Airways aircraft.
In a series of tweets, Harbhajan said it was 'disgraceful and shame' on the airlines and called for 'strict action' against the pilot. However, he did not mention where the incident happened and when.
'So called this Bernd Hoesslin a pilot with @jetairways called my fellow indian(u bloody

Harbhajan also tagged PM Modi in a tweet, asking him to take action against the pilot.
There were angry replies to Harbhajan's tweets and they called upon Jet Airways to ask the pilot to apologise.
The airlines responded to Harbhajan saying they have 'zero tolerance' for such incidents and ordered a probe.
