World No. 18 HS Prannoy continued his rich vein of form as he stunned World No. 2 and 2-time champion Kento Momota in straight games in the men's singles second round of BWF World Championships 2022 in Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24.
HS Prannoy needed
54 minutes to comfortably outclass Kento Momota 21-17, 21-16 to register his first win over the Japanese superstar. Prannoy had won only one game against Momota in their 7 meetings before Wednesday's outing in Tokyo but the Indian shuttler was in fine form at the world meet.
