IHF Trophy Men’s Youth & Junior Handball Championship Kicks Off in Lucknow

The International Championship of Handball – IHF Trophy Men’s Youth and Junior (Continental Phase – Asia) has started in Lucknow for the first time in the KD Singh Babu Stadium. Four countries—Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and India—are taking part in the tournament.

In the league matches played on the first day,



Kazakhstan defeated Bangladesh in youth & junior both categories. India played against Uzbekistan in both categories on the opening day.

The finals of the tournament will be played on Tuesday. This is a qualification tournament and the winner will qualify for the world championship.
