In National Games, Maharashtra continues to sit at top of medal tally with 162 medals including 60 Gold

In the 37th National Games in Goa, the exhilarating Gatka event, a martial art from Punjab came to a close yesterday. Punjab bagged the gold medal for Gatka Boys Single Soti while Chandigarh won the Gold for Gatka Girls Single Soti. In Rollball, Rajasthan clinched Gold medal in men's category while Maharashtra won in Women's section.

In the Women's triple jump, Sheena N V of Uttarakhand stood in first place. Seema of Himachal Pradesh secured the Gold for



Women's 5000 Metre. In Men's 4X400 Metre relay, Services won the Gold.

Maharashtra is currently sitting at the top of the medal tally with 162 medals including 60 gold, 49 silver and 53 bronze. Defending champion Services Sport Control Board is in second place with 66 medals including 38 gold. Haryana retained its third position in the medal tally with a total of 89 medals including 31 gold.
