India beat Indonesia 16-0 in Asia Cup Hockey

Jakarta: In Asia Cup Hockey tournament, Asian Games champions Japan defeated Pakistan 3-2 in a crucial pool A match in Jakarta yesterday.

With this win, Japan has qualified for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 to be held in

Bhubaneswar-Rourkela, India.

Japan joined Malaysia and Korea as the third team to qualify for the World Cup, as the host nation India, who thrashed Indonesia 16-0 in a pool match yesterday, had already qualified.
