India will face Maldives in the final of the South Asian Football Federation championships in Dhaka on Saturday. India have made their 11th appearance in the final of the tournament eliminating Pakistan 3-1 in the second semi-final played at the Bangabandhu Stadium in Dhaka last evening. After a goalless first-half, Manvir Singh struck
twice and Sumeet Passi netted one for the India while Hassan Bashir netted the lone goal for Pakistan.
Earlier in the first semi-final, Maldives defeated Nepal three-nil to entered the final. India are currently the title holder and have won the title seven times.
