Indian Men's hockey team defeated hosts South Africa by 10-2 in their second match of the FIH Pro Hockey League at Potchefstroom last night.
New comer Jugraj Singh led the Indian charge by scoring three goals in 4th, 6th, 23rd minute with his impeccable drag flicks. Harmanpreet Singh scored in the 2nd minute, Abhishek in 12th, Gursahibjit Singh in 24th and 36th minute, Dilpreet Singh in 25th and 58th and Mandeep Singh scored a goal in the 27th
minute of the match.
South Africa scored through Daniel Bell in the 44th minute off a penalty corner and a field strike from Richard Pautz in the 45th minute.
India will play France in the second match of the two-leg tie on Saturday.
Olympic bronze medallist India had thrashed France 5-0 in their opening match of the FIH Pro Hockey League on Tuesday.
