India beat South Africa by one wicket in the final of ICC Women World Cup Qualifier 2017 at Colombo this evening. India achieved the target of 245 runs on the last ball of the 50th over.
For India, Deepti Sharma was the highest scorer with 71 runs while Mona Meshram made 59 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur remained unbeaten at
41.Earlier, Rajeshwari Gayakwad claimed three wickets, while Shikha Pandey took two wickets to help India bowl out South Africa for 244 in 49.4 overs. M du Preez with 40 was the top-scorer for South Africa.
Both teams had already booked their berths in this year's ICC World Cup. India is the only unbeaten team in the tournament.
