India have stayed stable on to their second spot in the team list in latest ICC ODI rankings despite losing series to South Africa. In the latest rankings issued yesterday, ODI team charts is led by the World Cup winners Australia. South African side have also retained their third position in the rankings but are only separated by two points from India.
In the rankings for ODI Batsmen, Virat Kohli rose up a position to be second on the table. However, batting charts is reigned by South African skipper AB de Villiers, who scored
three centuries against India in 5-match bilateral series. He is 96 points clear of Kohli.
While, Indian skipper MS Dhoni moved up two places to be 6th on the table, a lowly series for Shikhar Dhawan has not thrown him out of top 10 charts as he is hung to 7th position.
In the rankings for ODI Bowlers, Australia's Mitchell Starc has returned to the top of the tree. The only Indian bowler figuring in top ranks is injured R Ashwin, who dropped a place to be 10th in the list.
