Jakarta: In the Men's Asia Cup Hockey tournament, India will take on Japan in their first match of Super-Four stage at the GBK Sports Complex Hockey Stadium at Jakarta in Indonesia today. The match will begin at 5 PM (Indian time). India qualified for the Super-Four round with a huge 16-0 win over hosts Indonesia on Thursday.
Japan defeated Pakistan 3-2 in the other crucial group match. With the win Japan joined Malaysia and Sourth Korea as the three teams
to qualify for the Men's Hockey World Cup to be held in India next year. As the host nation India, who thrashed Indonesia 16-0 in a pool match had already qualified for the World Cup.
In Super Four stage of the Asia Cup, the four teams will play each other once. The top two teams will then play the final.
In other Super 4 stage match, South Korea will take on Malaysia at 2:30 PM (Indian Time).
