Defending champions India will take on Sri Lanka in their opening encounter at South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup in Dhaka today. India, currently ranked 96 in the latest FIFA rankings, has been on the winning side 15 times against Sri Lanka out of the 22 face-offs
so far.
India has won the title of this regional tournament seven times out of 11 earlier editions. The other countries in the tournament are Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives.
