Amsterdam: In Hockey, a gallant Team India fought till the end but went down 3-4 to New Zealand in their third Pool B match of the FIH Women's World Cup as the third-best team from their group in Amstelveen, Netherlands. They will now play the crossovers that will take place in Spain.

topped the pool with seven points ahead of England with four, while India and China finished on two points apiece but progressed on account of a better goal difference. India will now play the second-placed team in Pool C for a place in the quarterfinals in Terrassa, Spain on Sunday.
