Indian boys entered the pre-quarterfinals of the World Junior Squash Championships in Chennai, defeating Switzerland 2-1, last evening.
After an easy 3-0 win over 23rd seed Saudi Arabia, India nearly lost the plot against Switzerland, seeded 12th, before going on to win 2-1 to top the Group E.
Utkarsh Baheti had to recover from 4-8 down against Campbell Wells in the fourth to prevent a fifth, but the Swiss levelled as Nils Roach won in four defeating Veer Chotrani.

the decider between the number ones, Yash Fadte played out of his skin out to defeat Yannick Wilhelmi in five sets.
In other results, Egypt beat Singapore 3-nil, England beat South Africa 2-1 and Colombia beat Qatar 3-nil.
A total of 24 countries, divided into eight groups, are taking part the tournament.
Two teams from each group will advance to the knock-out phase. The Final will be played on Sunday.
