Chennai: At the 44th Chess Olympiad, it was a rest day yesterday. International players had a break from the routine and toured places of interest in Mamallapuram, Chennai, and the neighbouring Puducherry. After a break, it will be a different ordeal at the Chess Olympiad.
India's first FIDE trainer Dr.Ebenezer Joseph
has said that the Indian team along with ten other teams are in third place and are expected to march their way ahead.
The Chess expert said that the Indian women's team is putting up a tough fight and has been on a winning stride with six points in the Olympiad.
