India's Lakshya Sen reaches into the semifinals of All England Badminton Championships

Birmingham: In Badminton, India's Lakshya Sen and doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand advanced to the semifinals of the All England Championships yesterday.

World Championships bronze medallist Sen cruised into the men's singles semifinals after his Chinese opponent Lu Guang Zu gave a



walkover.

20-year-old Sen will face the winner of the match between Malaysia's sixth seed Lee Zii Jia and Japan's second seed Kento Momota in the semi-final.

Indian women’s doubles pair moved into the last four after beating Korean world no.2 Lee Sohee and Shin Seung-chan 14-21 22-20 21-15.
