In the thrilling Indonesia Masters Super 500 badminton tournament, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy faced off against the Thai duo Kittinupong Kedren and Dechapol Puavaranukroh, in the Men’s Doubles round of 16 match. The Thai pair triumphed, winning in straight games by 22-20, 23-21.

Earlier, In the tournament, ace Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen lost to Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto in the second round of the Men’s Singles event at Jakarta today. Sen lost the first set 16-21 and made a comeback to win the second set 21-12 but lost the third set



23-21. 

In Mixed Doubles, the Indian pair of Tanisha Crasto and Dhruv Kapila lost to Malaysia’s Pang Ron Hoo and Su Yin Cheng in the second round. 
In the Women’s Doubles, Tanisha Crasto partnering the experienced Ashwini Ponnappa will face Malaysia’s Pei Kee Go and Mei Xing Teoh in the second round today.  

In Women’s Singles, PV Sindhu suffered a disappointing start to her campaign, losing her opening-round match against Vietnam’s T.L. Nguyen last evening.
