After winning the toss, Rohit had no second thoughts on inviting Pune skipper Steve Smith to bat first at Wankhede Stadium.
Pune are playing with the same squad which played in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad while Mumbai have made just one change in their side.
Spinner Karn Sharma has replaced injured Krunal Pandya for Mumbai.
