IPL 2017: Match 28:MIvs RPS : Rohit Sharma wins toss, Mumbai elect to chase against Pune

Mumbai, April 24: Mumbai Indians' captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to chase against Rising Pune Supergiant in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 league match here on Monday (April 24).

After winning the toss, Rohit had no second thoughts on inviting Pune skipper Steve Smith to bat first at Wankhede Stadium.

Pune are playing with the same squad which played in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad while Mumbai have made just one change in their side.

Spinner Karn Sharma has replaced injured Krunal Pandya for Mumbai.

On a roll after a six-game winning streak, high-flying MI will be hoping to conqure against a resurgent RPS



in a potentially high-voltage clash.

Table toppers Mumbai are in a perfect state of mind to seek revenge for their first leg loss to their Maharashtra rivals in their opening game in Pune, their only defeat in this season so far.
