Jeevanji Deepthi win gold in 100 meter in U-17 girls at Khelo India

In the third Khelo India youth games in Guwahati,  Haryana's Nuzrat Ali won Gold in 100 meter in boys under 21 category while Kerela's Ancy Sojan bagged Gold in girls category. This is Ancy's second Gold yesterday as she won Gold in Long Jump too. On the other hand, Jeevanji Deepthi from Telangana won gold in 100 meter in under 17 girls.

Assam girl Pooja



Basumatary won the first gold for the home team in judo in 57 kilogram category. Assam got another silver medal today in Judo. Earlier in the day, several meet records were made in the athletics. Maharastra is leading the medal tally with 11 gold and 10 silver. Delhi is in the second position with 8 gold followed by Uttar Pradesh with 7 gold.
