Kerala storms into final of Santosh trophy

Group B topper Manipur will take on 32-time champion West Bengal in the second semi-final of the Santosh Trophy football tournament at Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri this evening.

In the first semi-final, Kerala beat Karnataka by 7-3 and storm into the final. 

In today's match both teams lost one match each in the final group encounter, before reaching the



semi-final.

Manipur lost to Odisha in the group stage, but won the other three games to reach the semi-final. Although West Bengal lost to Kerala, it won against Punjab, Meghalaya and Rajasthan in the group matches.

The winning team this evening will take on Kerala in the final on May 2.
