Kevin Anderson enters into the final of Wimbledon Tennis Championship

Kevin Anderson of South Africa sailed into the final of the men's singles defeating John Isner of the United States in a record-breaking semi-final last night. 

The match lasted for six hours and 35 minutes before the eighth seed Anderson came through 7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 6-4, 26-24. The final set alone lasted two hours and 50 minutes. Anderson, who was runner-up to Nadal in last year's US Open final, becomes the first South African man to reach the Wimbledon decider since Brian Norton in



1921.

Meanwhile, the other semi-final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic was suspended after three sets to resume today. Three-time Wimbledon champion Djokovic, is ahead 6-4 3-6 7-6. They could not start their match until after 8 pm local time as they had to wait for Kevin Anderson's epic semi-final against John Isner to finish. With Merton council imposing a late-night curfew on the play, the players will resume their encounter before the women's final between American Serena Williams and Germany's Angelique Kerber.
