Lakshya Sen enters men's singles quarter-finals of Indonesia Masters Tournament

In Badminton, Lakshya Sen has entered the men's singles quarter-finals of Indonesia Masters Tournament in Jakarta. He defeated Rasmus Gemke of Denmark 21-18, 21-15.

Sen defeated another Danish Hans-Kristian Vittinghus 21-10, 21-18 in the men's singles while Sindhu outclassed Danish shuttler Line Christophersen 18-21, 21-15, 21-11 in women's singles.

The Indian duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and B Sumeeth Reddy wil also play



their second-round match today against Chinese pair of Huang Ya Qiong and Zheng Si Wei. The Indian pair defeated Indonesia's Hafiz Faizal and Serena Kani 21-15, 21-14 in the first round.

However, Sameer Verma lost to Indonesian Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo 17-21,15-21 in opening round of Men's singles while Aakarshi Kashyap lost to Beiwen Zhang 12-21 ,11-21 in the first round of Women's singles.
