Mansi settles for silver at Junior Asian Wrestling in New Delhi

India bagged a Silver and a Bronze medal in Women's Freestyle Wrestling at the Junior Asian Championships in New Delhi yesterday. In the 57 kilogram category, Mansi had to settle for a Silver after she lost to Japan's Akie Hanai in the Final. The Bronze medal was won by Swati in the 53 kg division.



She defeated Thailand's Duangnapa Boonyasu in the play-off.

On Thursday, India had clinched a Silver medal through Divya Kakran in the 68 kg category, while the two Bronze medals came through Reena in 55 kgs and Karuna in 76 kgs.
