Milkha Singh’s condition stable but wife contracts to Covid-19

Legendary athlete Milkha Singh’s wife Nirmal Kaur was admitted to the hospital in Mohali on Monday after she tested positive for Covid-19.

“Milkha Singh continues to be stable on oxygen support. However, he is weak, and we are trying to persuade him to increase his food intake,” the hospital said in a



statement.

Milkha and his wife are sharing the same room, the hospital said in a statement.

“Today, we have stepped him down from the ICU to a room which he is sharing with his wife Nirmal Milkha Singh, who was admitted earlier in the day with Covid pneumonia. Both are closely monitored,” said the hospital.
