Narinder Batra steps down as President of Indian Olympic Association

Narinder Batra has tendered his resignation from the post of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president. Mr Batra also confirmed that he will not be running again for IOA president. He is also the president of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

In a letter, Batra said that



his association with FIH as its president will require more time due to various initiatives taken by the organisation.

Batra added that it’s time for someone with a fresh mind and ideas to succeed him into the role to which he was elected in 2017.
