New Zealand's tour of Bangladesh for a two-Test series in August - September 2020 has been postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus. Kane Williamson's side was due in Bangladesh to play two matches of the ICC World Test Championship.
International cricket will resume in July when England take on the West Indies in a Test series at home but there are concerns over some of the new rules approved by the International Cricket Council in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

boards will now work on identifying a suitable time to reschedule the series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board said."In the present COVID-19 pandemic scenario, hosting a full cricket series in August 2020 will be a challenge in terms of preparations and we cannot take chances with the safety and health of players, support staff and related stakeholders," BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said.
"Under these circumstances, the BCB and NZC have felt that the best way forward would be to defer the series."
