The Indian men's archery team put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell to Turkey in the quarter-finals of the Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday. The Indian trio of Tarundeep Rai, Pravin Jadhav, and Bommadevara Dhiraj lost 6-2 to Turkey. Turkey took an early lead, winning the first
two sets 57-53 and 55-52 to go up 4-0. India staged a comeback with a narrow 55-54 victory in the third set.
However, Turkish archers Mete Gazoz, Abdullah Yildirmis, and Berkim Tumer sealed the win with a 58-54 victory in the fourth set.
