Paris Olympic 2024 Day 8 Schedule: Manu Bhaker aims for third Olympic medal today

Two-time Bronze medalist at the Paris Olympics, Manu Bhaker, will eye for her third medal today as she will be in action in the women’s 25 meters pistol shooting finals at the Chateauroux this afternoon at 01:00 PM. Bhaker has already won the bronze medals in women’s 10 meters pistol and the mixed team 10 meters pistol events.

In men’s 71kg Boxing, India’s Nishant Dev will be in action against Marco Alonso Verde Alvarez of Mexico in the quarter-finals tonight at 12:18 AM. A win for Nishant in this match will secure another medal for India in Paris 2024.

In the



individual Archery event, three-time Olympian Deepika Kumari will face Michelle Kroppen of Germany in the round of 16 at 01:52 PM, while Bhajan Kaur will take on Indonesia’s Diananda Choirunisa.

In golf, Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will be teeing up for round 3 at the Albatros course, Le Golf National just outside Paris. In Sailing, Nethra Kumanan will be competing in the Women’s Dinghv event at 03:35 PM, while another Indian sailor Vishnu Saravanan will also resume his campaign in the Men’s Dinghv event at 03:50 PM.
