New Delhi: As the Asian Para Games commence in Hangzhou, China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to convey his best wishes to the Indian contingent. The Prime Minister highlighted the inspiring life journeys of the athletes representing India and expressed confidence that they would exemplify the true essence of Indian
sportsmanship.
The Asian Para Games, recognised by the International Paralympic Committee and organized by the Asian Paralympic Committee, will take place from October 22 to 28. It's worth noting that the event was originally scheduled for October 9 to 15, 2022, but had to be postponed due to the severe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.
