Pre-quarterfinals of Senior National Badminton Championship begins today

Pre-quarterfinals round of the Senior National Badminton Championship will begin in Guwahati, Assam today. The top eight seeds will begin their challenge directly from the pre-quarters. Similarly, in doubles, the top four teams have been exempted from playing until the quarters.

The preliminaries ended yesterday to decide the top singles seeds. In women's singles, Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu will be the



top attractions while Sameer Verma will be the biggest name in men's singles.

Meanwhile, shuttlers Sourabh Varma, Lakshya Sen, Harsheel Dani and 12 others have entered the fourth round of the men's singles last evening.
