In Wimbledon, unseeded Indians Purav Raja and Divij Sharan entered the second round of the men's doubles event. The Indian duo defeated British-Portuguese pair of Kyle Edmund and Joao Sousa 7-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 in little over three hours in London yesterday.
This is the best performance for the duo as they have never been able to get past the first round hurdle in their
previous attempts at the Championship.
Today, In men's double, the Indo-Canadian pair of Leander Paes and Adil Shamasdin will clash with Austrian duo Julian Knowle and Philipp Oswald.
In another match, Indo-Franch brace Rohan Bopanna and Édouard Roger-Vasselin will take on German couple Dustin Brown and Mischa Zverev.
