In the Premier Badminton League, World Championship silver medallist PV Sindhu began the new year with a morale-boosting win over Saina Nehwal, as defending champions Hyderabad Hunters thrashed North Eastern Warriors at Pune yesterday. 

The 5-0 victory meant, the Hunters ended the Pune leg of the league on top of the leader-board. Sindhu, who had lost



her last two matches in the PBL, ultimately emerged victorious.

Hyderabad Hunters won two men singles, a men's doubles and women singles matches while Warriors got victory in a mixed doubles match. 

Today,  Delhi Dashers will take on Bengaluru Raptors. The match will start at 7 p.m.
