PV Sindhu & Lakhshya Sen to play in Semifinals of Singles event in Syed Modi International Championship today

In Badminton, Semifinal matches will be played today in Syed Modi International tournament at Lucknow. In Women’s Singles, ace Indian shuttler and two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu will face compatriot Unnati Hooda.

In the Men’s Singles, Lakshya Sen will lock horns with Japan’s Shogo Ogawa and second seed Priyanshu Rajawat will face Singapore’s fourth seed Jia Heng Jason

Yesterday, Sindhu defeated China’s Dai Wang while Lakshya overpowered compatriot Meiraba Luwang Maisnam in the quarterfinals.

In Women’s Doubles, the pair of Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand and duo, Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Cresto have also reached the final four.
