Paris: India's ace shuttler PV Sindhu stormed into the women's singles semi-finals of the French Open Badminton after defeating Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand in straight sets yesterday. Indian double Olympic medallist defeated the Thai player 21-14, 21-14 in the quarter-finals. Now world number seven Sindhu will now take on world number 15 Sayaka Takahashi of



Japan in Last 4 clash this evening.

However, Lakshya Sen faced a defeat in the Men's singles quarter-final against South Korea's Heo Kwanghee 15-21, 17-21. Men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also lost to Malaysian combine of Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik 21-18, 18-21, 17-21.
