Melbourne: World No.2, Spain's Rafael Nadal today entered the quarterfinals of Australian Open Tennis tournament, beating the world No.17 Fabio Fognini of Italy 6-3 6-4 6-2. Nadal will now face the winner of tonight’s match between Tsitsipas and Berrettini.
Nadal didn’t have it all
his own way, producing some “sloppy” serving and uncharacteristic unforced errors, but was simply too classy for Fogini. The Spaniard was broken once in the first set and then again in the second as Fognini took a 4-2 lead, before Nadal won four consecutive games.
