In Tennis, Rafael Nadal has announced that he is withdrawing from Wimbledon after failing to recover from an abdominal injury, ending his hopes of a calendar Grand Slam. Semi-final opponent Nick Kyrgios will receive a walkover into Sunday's final, where he will play either top seed and six-time champion Novak Djokovic or Britain's Cameron Norrie. Nadal, a 22-time Grand Slam champion, struggled with the injury in a grueling five-set win against 11th-seeded American Taylor Fritz on Wednesday.

In another match,  Tunisian Ons Jabeur moved into the finals  defeating Germany's Tatjana Maria 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in a thrilling encounter at Centre Court today. Jabeur will face the winner of



next match between Halep and Rybakina in the finals.

Ons Jabeur is the first Arab woman and first African woman to reach the final of a Grand Slam.

In the Men's Doubles semi-finals, US-German pair of Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury versus all Australian pair of Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell is also underway.

In the Mixed Doubles final, Australian pair of Matthew Ebden and Samantha Stosur will face UK- US pair of Neal Skupski and Desirae Rawczyk. In the second semi-final Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah of Columbia will clash with Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic of Croatia.
