India will look to
build on their yesterday's performance when they resume their first innings at
the overnight score of 319 for 4 against England on the penultimate day of the the
Rajkot Test today. The third day's stumps were drawn yesterday after Amit
Mishra went back to the hut without scoring. Skipper Virat Kohli on 26 was at
the crease, with India still trailing by 218 runs in the first
innings.
Earlier in the day, Opener Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara posted centuries as the hosts were replying to England's massive 537. Vijay scored 126, while Pujara made 124. This is the first Test of the 5-match series.
