SAFF Women’s C’ship: India defeats Pakistan with 5-2 win in opening match

In football, India defeated Pakistan 5-2 in the opening match of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024 in Kathmandu, Nepal, yesterday. India will now face Bangladesh in its second Group A fixture on October 23. The final will be played on the 30th of this



month. 

The Indian women’s football team and Pakistan are drawn in Group A, along with Bangladesh, while Group B includes hosts Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. All matches will be held at the Dasharath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu
