Satwiksairaj & Chirag clinch Vietnam Open International challenger badminton men's doubles title

Promising Indian men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty has clinched the 20,000 US Dollar Vietnam Open International challenger badminton title. In the summit clash at Hanoi yesterday, the sixth seeded Indian pair defeated the fifth seeded Thai duo of Trawut Potieng and Nanthakam Yordphaisong in three games



17-21, 21-9, 21-15.

For the young Indian pair it was their maiden title this season, while fifth victory overall. They had won the Mauritius International Series, the India International Series, the India International Challenge and the Bangladesh International Challenge last season.
