Sri Lankan cricket has decided to play a T 20 match in Lahore this month despite security apprehensions expressed by majority of players.
The board meeting in Colombo Monday evening decided to go ahead with the match after players had written to the board to consider changing the venue of match. This is the only match scheduled to be played on Pakistan soil in the ongoing series as rest of
the matches are being held in United Arab Emirates.
Sri Lankan cricket team had come under terrorist attack at Lahore during a tour in 2009 and memories of it still haunt those in the team.
